The fast and real-time processing of large volumes of data with high accuracy of results, combined with the rapid technological evolution of the medical equipment used, improve the quality of health services provided to patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NVIDIA recently introduced the NVIDIA IGX platform that serves medicine with the use of artificial intelligence (AI), increasing the levels of safety in smart machines and in human-machine collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IGX is a hardware and software platform that provides, on the one hand, safe and, on the other hand, low-latency results, using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to be able to meet the demand for immediate information through a series of devices and sensors in medical applications, including robotic surgery or patient monitoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IGX platform supports NVIDIA Clara Holoscan, a platform that enables medical device developers to bridge services from their on-premise data center to cloud services at the edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three leading medical device companies \u2014 Activ Surgical, Moon Surgical and Proximie \u2014 have chosen the combination of NVIDIA Clara Holoscan and software connected to the IGX platform to power their surgical robotic systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"163\" height=\"157\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cbs.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/image-148.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3284 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>For example, Activ Surgical selected NVIDIA Clara Holoscan to accelerate the development of its AI and augmented reality solution for real-time surgical guidance.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Paris-based robotic surgery company Moon Surgical is designing Maestro, a versatile robotic surgical assistance system that works with existing equipment and workflows in operating rooms.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"157\" height=\"182\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cbs.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/image-149.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3286 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:28% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"96\" height=\"170\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cbs.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/image-150.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3288 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>London-based Proximie is building a telepresence platform to enable remote surgeon collaboration in real time.
