Cosmos Business Systems Awards Contract for the “Supply of Electronic Equipment for Digital Empowerment Hubs” for GRNET
Cosmos Business Systems has been awarded the project “Supply of Electronic Equipment for Digital Empowerment Hubs” under Subproject SUB2 “Digital education and empowerment of older adults and persons with disabilities”, implemented by the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology Network (GRNET – National Research and Technology Network). The total project budget amounts to one million thirty-eight thousand eight hundred seventy-two euros (€1,038,872), including 24% VAT.
The objective of the project is to create a modern IT infrastructure in 120 Digital Empowerment Hubs for Older Adults and 80 Digital Empowerment Hubs for Persons with Disabilities, thereby contributing substantially to bridging the digital divide and strengthening social cohesion.
The project’s scope encompasses the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of complete electronic equipment at all hubs, ensuring that the facilities are fully operational for the implementation of digital training programs.
In total, 360 laptops, 2,840 tablets, 200 video projectors, 200 projection screens, and 200 colour multifunction printers will be delivered and installed. The project also includes the corresponding accessibility software licenses and open-source office software, as well as installation, configuration, and technical support services across all Digital Empowerment Hubs.
