Cosmos Business Systems in collaboration with the Municipality of Egaleo and Dotsoft held on Monday, September 11, at the Egaleo City Hall the conference “Now Egaleo is Smart” where the Municipality’s new smart platform, Smartcity Egaleo – https://smartcity.egaleo.gr/, was presented.
The new platform was implemented within the framework of the project “Smart City Pilot Applications” in the Municipality of Egaleo with an emphasis on positioning the area as a “new” destination for recreation and culture by leveraging the experiences of citizens and visitors” and constitutes the central gateway for the citizens and visitors of Egaleo to public and municipal services and benefits of the Municipality.
The implementation of the new Smartcity Egaleo platform was carried out by Cosmos Business Systems and Dotsoft and enables the citizens and visitors of the municipality to navigate the points of interest of the Municipality, learn its history, be informed about events and businesses, participate in competitions and receive digital certificates.
The project was successfully completed and delivered by the contractors, giving a new lease of life to Egaleo, which entered a new digital era by offering added value to the daily lives of the citizens, as stated by Dr. Dimitris Tzempelikos, Director of Planning, Development & Transparency of the Municipality of Egaleo.
