NVMe technology provides a new protocol for Flash Storage that helps facilitate easy interconnection without bottlenecks when flash memory is connected to a system via SAS or SATA interfaces. Thus, NVMe technology enables faster communication between SSDs and the host system, which significantly improves overall performance.
