Mr. Dimitris Dafnis, President and CEO of Cosmos Business Systems, stated during the TOP LEVEL MEETING ’21 that the prospects opening up in the IT sector at this time are very strong. “After several years, there is an intention and willingness on the part of the state to move into the digital era and proceed with implementations that had been discussed for many years. The projects it has announced are in the order of 4 billion euros for the next period and concern small, medium and smaller projects in various bodies, with a focus on the Information Society.
The company’s ratio in relation to private-public sector projects is 65%-35% in favor of the private sector, although in the last decade Cosmos appears to have a presence in the Public Sector, as one of the main contenders for projects. Currently, Cosmos Business Systems has submitted bids exceeding 140 million euros for public projects in Greece and Cyprus, while participation in upcoming competitions is also in the pipeline. We are one of the 3-4 players that will stand out in the next period, which seems to be the most interesting, technologically, of the last fifteen years.”
