At the press conference, given by the President of the Cosmos Business Systems group, Mr. Dimitris Dafnis, on Wednesday 22/11/2023, on the occasion of the completion of 35 years since the company’s launch in Greece and 15 years in Cyprus, the rapid upward growth of the group and the 60% increase in revenue for 2023 to €66 million from €41 million in 2022, the completion of investment programs, the establishment of the new branch in Crete and the new Cybersecurity company CBS.LAN in collaboration with the Lancom group, the major NSRF 2020-2027 projects that are under implementation, as well as the Hot Tech Trends of the market were announced.
The Cosmos Business Systems group is one of the main Systems Integrators of the Greek and Cypriot Market, in the fields of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Security, Software and Specialized Services.
During the interview, an extensive review of the company’s history was given, from the founding of Microland AEBE in 1984 (of which the President of Cosmos was a co-founder), to the founding of Cosmos Computers in 1988 and its acquisition in 2000, to reach the Cosmos Business Systems group with 35 years of presence in the IT industry. At the same time, an analysis was made of the current market situation in Greece and abroad, giving an indication of the group’s business plans with a horizon of up to 2030. It also referred to the strategic interventions for the Digital Transformation and the major IT projects (RRF and NSRF) that it participates in and will participate in in the next period.

The investments announced by the company concern New projects in Greece and Cyprus, the expansion of new strategic partnerships in the Security & Data Centers sectors, the development of Artificial Intelligence applications – with an emphasis on document and case management, and the investment strategy for the period 2024 -2030.
