Following a competitive bidding process, Cosmos Business Systems has been awarded the contract for the project “Support for the seamless, secure, and efficient operation of the Central IT Infrastructure of the Municipality of Thessaloniki,” reaffirming its consistent presence in the implementation and support of critical ICT projects for public administration and local government.
Its purpose is to provide specialized support, maintenance, and management services for the central IT infrastructure of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, with the aim of ensuring business continuity, security, and the efficient operation of the Municipality’s services.
The Municipality of Thessaloniki operates an extensive and complex Information and Communications Technology (ICT) network, with a Data Center and numerous regional offices throughout the city. The infrastructure includes critical systems for networking, security, data storage, virtualization, VoIP telephony, and cloud services via G-Cloud.
Drawing on its expertise and many years of experience in highly complex projects, Cosmos Business Systems helps strengthen the digital operations of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and local government in general, by supporting critical infrastructure that serves the Municipality’s services on a daily basis and, by extension, its citizens.
