On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Cosmos Business Systems honours the women who are shaping the present and future of technology and demonstrates its commitment to inclusion, equal opportunities, and the advancement of women in technology and leadership positions.
Today, women make up 28% of Cosmos Business Systems’ workforce, while 1 in 4 of the company’s senior executives are women, confirming in practice that progress in technology and management can and should be the result of meritocracy, equal opportunities, and a culture of trust.
Despite the momentum of the digital transition, the gender gap in purely technological roles remains a challenge. At the European level, women’s participation in ICT professions remains low, while the European Commission emphasises that strengthening their presence is a critical factor in achieving the goals of the “Digital Decade.” (European Commission – Women in Digital)
