Cosmos Business Systems is participating in the upgrade of the computing infrastructure of the National Technical University of Athens, as part of the “Strategic Research Plan of the National Technical University of Athens” project, which is included in the SUB2 call: “Universities of Excellence” of the Recovery and Resilience Fund “Greece 2.0”.
The project involves the supply, installation, and configuration of modern servers and ancillary equipment in the Schools of the Zografou Campus. At the same time, it includes comprehensive training of staff in their proper use, ensuring high reliability and operational performance of the infrastructure.
The new servers significantly enhance processing and storage capabilities, delivering high-performance computing, increased speed, and enhanced information security. At the same time, they support advanced applications and research programs in areas such as artificial intelligence, big data analysis, nanotechnology, and mechanical simulations. The infrastructure also contributes to the upgrading of the educational process, providing students and researchers with a modern, secure, and reliable working environment.

Mr Alexandros Kourtis, General Manager Public Sector at Cosmos Business Systems, stated: “Strengthening the computing infrastructure of universities is a critical factor for the development of cutting-edge research and high-level education. At Cosmos Business Systems, we design and implement reliable and scalable technology solutions that support the growing needs of the academic community, contributing significantly to the digital transformation of higher education.”
With this upgrade, the National Technical University of Athens strengthens its research excellence and the capabilities of its students and scientists, promoting innovation and the international competitiveness of the institution.
