Cosmos has been commissioned to implement the Security Operations Center (SOC) for the University of Cyprus

Cosmos, in collaboration with its subsidiary CBS.LAN, has undertaken the implementation and provision of Security Operations Center (SOC) services for the University of Cyprus, under a three-year contract worth a total of €168,900.

The project involves the design, implementation, and operation of a state-of-the-art Security Operations Center (SOC), which will provide continuous monitoring (24x7x365) of the University’s information systems, with the aim of strengthening cybersecurity and effectively managing threats.

Under the contract, the following is provided for:

  • The design, installation, and configuration of the necessary SOC equipment,
  • The provision of licenses for security software and SIEM systems,
  • The continuous monitoring, detection, and prevention of security incidents.

The project will be implemented by specialized personnel from the Cosmos Group, leveraging its deep expertise and experience in the field of cybersecurity.

This implementation marks a significant step in strengthening the University of Cyprus’s digital defenses, ensuring the protection of its IT infrastructure and, by extension, its educational and research activities.
