The joint venture Cosmos Business Systems and Dynamic Ltd Final contractors of EDYTE for the «Supply of software for blood banks information system based on the use of internet technologies»

The project contract of the National Network of Infrastructure Technology SA (EDYTE SA, GR-NET) was assigned to the joint venture Cosmos Business Systems and Dynamic Ltd, “supply of software for blood bank information system based on the use of internet technologies”, which amounts to € 2.290.000,00.

The project’s object is the blood bank information system software supply, which will meet the requirements of the National Blood Bank System of the country and will be based on the use of internet technologies, and the provision of free warranty services for four years.

The aim of the project is:

• Patients’ registration for transfusion and/or the connection with the system of the admission’s office.
• Interconnection of the blood bank information system with the hospital laboratories (communication with analyzers and medical equipments).
• Registration of transfusion referrals and blood products.
• Registration of the required examinations for the patients’ pre-transfusion examination and registration of the results.
• Management of the required blood samples (receipt/acceptance or not and procedure of their return if they are not accepted).

Cosmos Business Systems is one of the main partners of EDYTE (former GRNET – GRNET) having implemented more than 10 projects after tenders (bidding), including the two (2) High Performance Computers HPC – Supercomputer Centers during the last decade.
