COSMOS & CBS IT SYSTEMS CYPRUS are leading the digital transformation of Cyprus Post

Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus and Cyprus Post successfully held the official presentation marking the completion of the Counter Automation System (C.A.S.) project, which was implemented by the consortium COSMOS S.A. – CBS IT Systems Cyprus (a subsidiary of Cosmos Business Systems).

The project, with a budget of €2.2 million, integrates all postal processes and automates transactions, sales, inventory, and accounting data, reducing bureaucracy and improving the speed and transparency of public service.

The project includes the necessary modern equipment and an integrated information system that simplifies the work of postal workers and increases productivity.

During the interview, the digital platform ePost (epost.cypruspost.gov.cy) was also presented live, which allows citizens to easily manage all their postal transactions digitally, enhancing immediate and high-quality service.

Beyond this specific project, the COSMOS Group has already implemented and put into operation additional solutions for Cyprus Post, such as Parcel24 lockers, advanced automatic sorting systems with OCR that reduce delivery times, and upgraded high-capacity envelope sorting machines.

“The completion of the Counter Automation System (C.A.S.) is a tangible demonstration of our ability to deliver complex, high-demand digital transformation projects. Leveraging the Group’s expertise and years of experience in critical technological infrastructure, we deliver solutions that streamline processes, enhance organizational efficiency, and create real value for citizens. “We are proud to have contributed to the modernization of Cyprus Post and remain committed to supporting projects that transform public services and societies.” — Dimitris Dafnis, Chairman & CEO of the Cosmos Group
