Executive Woman of the Year was the title awarded to the COO of Cosmos Business Systems Κatia Fytrou in the context of the Infocom conference that took place in the 24th of November at Divani Caravel.
Ms. Fytrou holds an MBA on Strategic Communications and Public Relations.
As Chief Operations Manager (COO) she has vastly contributed on the growth of the Cosmos Group, which includes Cosmos Business Systems and its two branches in Thessaloniki and Cyprus. More specifically, under her leadership in the last 5 years the group’s revenues have more than doubled from 17 million in 2017 to 45 million in 2021 while the human capital of the group has been strengthened with its employees being increased from 145 to 231. Furthermore, she has successfully managed high profile projects in both public and private sector, effectively addressing all the unprecedented needs that stemmed from the vigorous expansion of the group’s projects in Greece, Cyprus and abroad.
In response to being awarded the title of executive woman of the year she responded: “It is an honor for me that through this title I represent all the women in our industry. I strongly believe that women working in the technology sector, are a source of diverse values and skills, not mandatorily better or worse, but complimentary to those of men, with the combination of both leading to excellent results”.
Finally, in the context of the conference Cosmos Business Systems presented the big projects that it has completed and their contribution to the digital transformation of the country.
