In the framework of previous, in progress, contract with EDYTE S.A., Cosmos Business Systems and Dynamic Software proceeded to its extension for the «Supply of network equipment and passive Infrastructure for the upgrade of the internal networks of the institutions (LOT1) » in the context of Act “HEPHAESTUS”, increasing the physical and financial object by 2.253.684,78 €, plus VAT.
The object of the project is the targeted upgrade of the network equipment of all the Academic Institutions of the country and includes, among others, active equipment of Huawei, which Cosmos is Gold partner, Large-Scale Fiber Optic Wiring Projects, EM projects and installation services for training and technical support. This project ensures the modernization and improvement of the infrastructure for conducting their complex research and academic activities, in the long term.
Cosmos Business Systems is one from the main partners of EDYTE (ex ΕDΕΤ – GRNET) having implemented among others, the two ultra-modern High-Performance Computer (HPC) Centers during the last decade.
The completion of the entire project is expected within 2022.
