“Cosmos Business Systems, as a technology pioneer, presented a series of disruptive and innovative technologies at BEYOND 2025. The developments mainly concerned Artificial Intelligence (AI), High Performance Computing (HPC), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Cyber Security (and the implementation of the NSIS II directive), which are shaping the new business and social reality.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Cosmos Business Systems presented innovative solutions in Artificial Intelligence and the new Core AI program that enable the optimisation of business processes and the enhancement of productivity in the field of Legal Science, using Greek LLMS already in use at the National Printing House. AI applications are designed to analyze large amounts of data, predict trends, and support more accurate decision-making. The application was developed by Cosmos’ new subsidiary, NovelCosmos.
High Performance Computing (HPC)
In the field of High Performance Computing, Cosmos Business Systems has introduced new technologies that enable the processing of huge amounts of data in minimal time. HPC solutions are critical for the development of advanced applications in the fields of research, science, and engineering. As NVIDIA’s representative in Greece and Cyprus, we had the opportunity to bring together the company’s representatives in a very interesting panel where future developments were presented. Cosmos is the system integrator with the most and largest HPC installations in Greece and Cyprus.
Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Security. NSIS II
The company also presented the latest developments in the Internet of Things (IoT), which connect devices and systems for real-time data collection and analysis. IoT solutions promote improved business functionality and the creation of smart cities. Case studies from nine municipalities in Western Attica (led by the municipalities of Peristeri and Aegaleo) and the municipality of Patras, where an IoT solution for parking and smart bus stops was recently installed, were presented in detail, along with the new requirements created by the NSIS II directive on cybersecurity, in conjunction with Cosmos’ Cyber Security solutions.
With these developments, Cosmos Business Systems confirms its commitment to promoting innovation and technological development, while contributing to the formation of a collective vision for the digital age and the future of technology.
“The AI-enhanced Noesis application stands out for its ability to process and analyze data in real time, offering highly accurate predictions and supporting complex decision-making. Thanks to Artificial Intelligence, the application is able to continuously learn and adapt to the needs of its users, improving the performance and efficiency of business processes. Noesis has applications in various fields, such as healthcare, financial services, and supply chain management, making it an essential tool for modern businesses seeking to remain competitive in the digital age.”
“The NVIDIA Mini Data Center is one of the most modern and advanced solutions we offer, all in one rack!
The Mini Data Center leverages the latest NVIDIA technologies to deliver high-performance computing power on a smaller scale, making it ideal for businesses and organizations that need advanced data processing capabilities, but in a more limited space and at a lower cost. This solution combines reliability, flexibility, and scalability to meet the needs of our customers and help them remain competitive in the digital age. The solutions provided are tailored to each vertical market in order to maximize results and the required investment.
Cosmos, in collaboration with NVIDIA, studies, designs, and implements solutions according to the specific needs of the business or organization on a custom basis, achieving the optimum solution in terms of quality, price, and operating and maintenance costs”.
“From an organizational standpoint, BEYOND 2025 had several positive aspects, such as the excellent layout of the exhibition spaces, the quality of the presentations, and the variety of exhibitors. However, there were also some areas that could be improved.
Firstly, attracting visitors, especially from the business community, is always a challenge that needs to be addressed in order to maximize attendance.
Secondly, communication and information about the exhibition program could be clearer and more detailed so that participants can better plan their activities.
Finally, it would be useful to have more variety in the infrastructure for exhibitors, such as more spaces for meetings and networking at the level of presentations and one-to-one contacts.
However, despite these comments, BEYOND 2025 was overall an excellent experience that met our expectations and created the conditions for future growth and improvement”.
“BEYOND certainly played an important role in shaping a collective vision for the digital age and the future of technology. The choice of Athens as the venue was also an apt one. The discussions and presentations provided us with valuable information and guidance on how we can leverage new technologies for the benefit of society and the economy.
Personally, my vision for the future of technology includes the use of Artificial Intelligence and High Performance Computing (HPC) systems to solve important problems and improve the quality of life. Cyber security and the creation of advanced data centers are also critical issues that we must address with seriousness and coordinated effort.
Furthermore, I believe in strengthening cooperation between the academic community, industry, and government to develop innovative solutions and promote digital education. With the right guidance and infrastructure, we can create a digital future that will benefit everyone and put Greece on the world map as a hub for technology and innovation. After all, Greece has plenty of bright minds!”
