OPEKA is taking steps to strengthen the security of its information systems, by procuring state-of-the-art cybersecurity equipment and services, with the aim of upgrading the protection of the Organization’s digital infrastructure and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of its services.
Cosmos Business Systems is undertaking the implementation of the project, reaffirming once again its strategic role in the implementation of critical technology and cybersecurity projects for Greek government agencies.
The project involves the procurement, installation, configuration, and commissioning of cybersecurity equipment and software at OPEKA’s central facilities in Athens.
As part of the implementation, the project includes, among other things, the installation of state-of-the-art secure networking and firewall solutions, the upgrade of existing infrastructure, the migration of configurations, the integration of backup and SIEM solutions, as well as the provision of specialized support and incident response services for security incidents.
Particular emphasis is placed on safeguarding the Organization against modern cyber threats, strengthening business continuity, and ensuring compliance with the requirements of the current cybersecurity regulatory framework, including the NIS2 Directive.
Upon completion of the project, OPEKA will have a more powerful, secure, and resilient technological environment capable of reliably supporting its critical operations and the services it provides to citizens.
