Cosmos Business Systems participated as a Platinum Sponsor in Fortinet Security Day Greece 2026, which took place on Wednesday, September 16, at the Telekom Center Athens, bringing together industry executives, cybersecurity professionals, and decision-makers from the IT sector.
This year’s event focused on contemporary cybersecurity challenges and the technologies shaping the future of digital infrastructure protection, with topics centered on Secure Digital Acceleration, SASE, Security Operations, and critical infrastructure security.
During the conference, Mr. Dimitris Dafnis, Chairman & CEO of the Cosmos Group, delivered a speech titled “Upgrading and Expanding ICT Infrastructure in the Justice Sector,” presenting one of the most significant digital transformation projects currently being implemented in the public sector.
The project, with a total contract value of 65.37 million euros, led by the Ministry of Justice and with the Information Society S.A. as the contracting authority, involves the extensive upgrade of the Justice Sector’s technological and network infrastructure at the national level.
During his presentation, Mr. Dafnis particularly emphasized the role of cybersecurity as a fundamental element of digital transformation, as network interconnectivity, access control, business continuity, and the protection of critical applications are essential prerequisites for creating a secure and sustainable nationwide information ecosystem.
The project utilizes Fortinet technologies at critical points in the infrastructure, enhancing secure interconnection and the protection of the justice system’s systems and applications.
