
A new digital upgrade program within the framework of Greece 2.0 starts on June 22 to support the digital upgrading of small and medium-sized enterprises. In light of this great opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises, we decided to compile this detailed guide aimed at informing beneficiaries about the benefits they can gain by participating in the program.
Program Objective
The aim of the program is to strengthen the digital capabilities of the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises. Through the program, the 100,000 participating companies will have the opportunity, through the acquisition of new digital services and products, to:

Program Duration and Milestones
The following table provides a detailed view of the program’s timelines based on the category to which the beneficiary belongs. For example, if the beneficiary belongs to the first category (1), they can apply from 22/6/2022 until 14/9/2022 and then redeem the 900-euro voucher they will receive by 30/11/2022.

Eligible Energy and Expenses
Eligible for funding from the program are the actions of the beneficiaries as well as the participation with these accompanying expenses through vouchers in the areas defined as parts of the program.
Analog with the category in the area, the indicator from the table below will be:
Any category 1 indicator will be used for the purchase of goods and the purchase of accompanying services (beneficiaries, actions, services), the area is supported and complementary in one of the defined vouchers (public support).
Any category 2, 3, or 4 indicator will be used for the purchase of goods or the purchase of accompanying services. The purchase area will be supported and complementary in one of the defined vouchers (public support). To be valid, the purchase area must be fully aligned with the area categories.

As long as the activation of the accompanying services is, the activation must not exceed the 30% of the total activation.
Category of new actions
In any case the new technology is supported, the cost of the energy activation must be determined as the cost of the new actions of the same type of activation. For example, with an integrated purchase that costs 32 items, the new activation costs 12,000€ in the area of the energy program with the original cost of 10,800€ provided by the program, the remaining amount of 1200€ is the new technology activation cost.
